Church Planting

Even then they received Christ
Baitadi, Dadeldhura and Silgari (BaiDaSi) City Team, September 2012.

Since long time God had been using Hem Raj Neupane for His ministry. His experience made him feel that the people of Baitadi are very narrow minded and tradition oriented. Even educated people believe that if they touch the holy books of other religions, their God would be angry, hence liable for His wrath so, they want to remain where they are, following their own God. Even then Kishan and Gopal, resident of this area, prayed to receive Christ as their Savior and Lord. But most of the people whom they reached with the gospel, they were directly replied that Christianity is a lower caste (Doom Dharma). There is a need of much prayer for the people of this area.

It is a wonderful opportunity for one of the Church Planters to share the gospel among the Hindus. These people go to the temple, and trust the idols for any kind of problem. When the gospel was shared to them, they were very confused. According to them, those who share Christianity and those who hear it would be punished by their Goddess or Kul Devi. After long prayer and counseling, some of the young people and women have joined the fellowship. Three young people are willing to take baptism too. There are two small Bible Study groups.

Slowly they are turning to Christ
Baitadi, Dadeldhura and Silgari (BaiDaSi) City Team -Kamal Bazar, September 2012.
It has been a great joy for Tanka Rai to share his ministry experience. Before, the people were very angry with him. They used to ask him the reason of sharing the gospel and said that their Goddess would kill him. Gradually, he started developing relationship with them and helped them in different ways. This made them positive towards him. He always shared the gospel to the young and educated people. Some of them have received Christ. There are some women who have heard the gospel in India, coming to the fellowship. Some of the youths are there in the Bible Study group. This month alone he shared gospel to 21 persons. During this time, there was a villager who had a disagreement with Tanka, warned him angrily that if he would go to that place again then he would break his hands and legs. But few days after the heated argument, they met in the market again where the man apologizes to Tanka for his misbehavior. That man called him (Tanka) and told him(Tanka) that he wanted to spend some time with him(Tanka). They sat and talked about Christ. Glory to God, he received Christ as his Savor and Lord.
