Medical Camp

Dhangadhi and Mahendranagar (DhaM) City Team, 30^th June 2012. 
Inspired by the verse Galatians 6:5, “Let us not become weary in doing good”, the team did the Medical Camp at Harinagar Kamaiya Mukti Sibir on 30^th June 2012. They had a general physician and a dentist to check up the patients. The crowd was very large and controlling them with limited number of staffs and volunteers was challenging, but God helped them to organize such a huge event in that place for the first time, and the event was both peaceful and successful.  More than 500 patients had undergone the treatment. As some of them have serious medical disorder or illness, the doctors gave them appropriate suggestions. The staffs and volunteers shared from the Four Spiritual Laws to them and distributed around 1,000 gospel tracts.  They prayed for the patients who are desperately in need of help. Some of them received Christ. There is possibility of starting new fellowship. The people were also requesting for prayer and to know more about Christ. They were really thirsty for God. God is so great to help our staffs and volunteers in their combined effort to organize such massive event which will surely bring some changes in this area. 

                Ministry among the Government officials
                         KaV West City Team, August 2012.

 Our staffs were able to meet several different influential Christian people who are working in the Government offices holding different high positions. This surprised them pioneering the ministry that Nepali Christian people are also in those high positions.  We come to know that there are around 25 Nepali Christian working in Government of Nepal holding position as high as Joint Secretary in their office. They have now formed the small group strategy in which they are now gathering information to reach these Christian civil servants and will group them according to their location and according to their position. Though the need of such ministry is greatly experienced, yet there are various challenges too. However, there is a great hope of massive long-term impact nationwide in future through this ministry. Also our one of the LLM staff is able to meet Dip Kumar Yadav, a Christian government official working in the District Administrative Office of Dhading. He has clearly sensed that Mr. Yadav could be one of the key contacts for this ministry to reach government officials in future. Furthermore, he also gave another three contacts and their detail information who are working in different government offices in Dhading Beshi, the district head quarter of Dhading District. All three of them are already active believers and also have a heart to reach their fellow officials in Christ. So, this all the things shows that, KaV West City Team is going to launch soon a Government Official man in Kathmandu valley as they had  strategic plan.
